Diesel Particulate Tester

Designed as an analysis tool for particulate emissions from automotive vehicles, the DPF100 was the first dedicated tester to check for the minute particles which can be present should a diesel engines particular filter (DPF) be malfunctioning. The tool is much more sensitive than existing smoke meters and can easily identify a faulty or compromised exhaust in 30 seconds or less.

The technology behind the DPF100 is being applied to marine particulate emissions to provide a low-cost and highly responsive indicator of high dust levels.

The device can be operated in standalone mode to give GOOD/ MARGINAL/POOR result using the built in LEDs. Android tablet interface provides a comprehensive graphical indication of diesel particulate performance when testing. Individual tests can be logged and printed along with relevant collection details when used with the tablet allowing a personalised test report to be created.
